Blood Test Results and Microbiology results

Please wait 5 working days from when the sample was taken before trying to get results. Ring the main surgery number 01869 338611 to get blood and urine etc specimen results. The receptionist will take your name and phone number, and give you a telephone appointment in the afternoon with our Health Care Assistant, Hayley, who will phone you back bet ween 1pm and 3.30pm and go through the results with you. The phone number needs to be one which you can be contacted on between those times.

X-Rays

If you have had an X-Ray, please wait 2 weeks (10 working days) before ringing the surgery for your results. Either the receptionist will give you a result, or, if it needs more explanation, the receptionist will give you an appoint ment with the GP.

Smears

Once you have had a smear at the surgery, we will send you a letter to your home address with the results once we have received them from the laboratory. This may take between 4 to 6 weeks.

Pathology Results

The results from specimens sent to the lab for pathology will take up to 10 working days to come back to us. Please phone the surgery to get the result if the doctor has not contacted you.
