Advice: Clinics are held daily. For warfarin monitoring it is preferred for all samples to be taken at the beginning of the week. Appointments for blood test MUST have been requested by your doctor or other health care professional. If you are in doubt please call to speak to one of our nurses who will advise you.

Diabetes Monitoring

Advice:The Diabetic Clinics are run by Sherrie Handley (Practice Nurse) and Hayley Johnson (Health Care Assistant). All diabetic patients are invited for an annual check. The first appointment is with Hayley Johnson who will carry out blood and urine tests, check height, weight and blood pressure and carry out a foot check. Hayley will organise to send you the results of these checks prior to an appointment approximately 2 weeks later with Sherrie Handley. Sherrie will then discuss these results with you and make suggestions to optimise your treatments in conjunction with Diabetes Leads Dr Tim Brimecombe and Dr Sue Ruddock.
Any queries regarding your diabetes can be directed to one of the Diabetes Team; Hayley Johnson, Sherrie Handley, Dr Tim Brimecombe, Dr Sue Ruddock.
