Hearing is a vital link to your world- a source of pleasure, information, and communication. It contributes to your personal safety, emotional well-being and independence. Hearing loss no matter how mild makes it more difficult to understand words and can be mentally exhausting. Whilst it often can’t be reversed you don’t have to resign yourself to living in a quieter less distinct world.

The first step to solving the problem is a hearing test. The hearing test is a free service provided at the Surgery and will give you the information you need to consider how to tackle the problem.

Solutions to hearing problems are available both through the NHS and privately and there are opportunities to trial appliances and get a good idea of the benefits that are possible. You may have past experience of using aids which have been disappointing but the improvements that have been made over the past few years are quite amazing.

To discuss your hearing and have a hearing test, book an appointment by telephoning our Reception on 01869 338611. The Audiology clinic is held every 2 weeks on a Friday morning.

Home appointments are also available, phone 01235 797639.
