Health visitors are qualified nurses or midwives with specialist public health training and they support families during a pregnancy and through to when the children are 5 years old. They focus on the ehalth and well-being of babies, children and their families to make sure they each have the support they need.
The health visiting team based at Deddington Health Centre is made up of a health visitor, community staff nurse, a trainee health visitor and an administrative support worker. The team is available Monday to Friday 8.30 – 4.30 and can be contacted by telephone to arrange an appointment.

Drop in baby clinics are held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at Upper Heyford Community Centre 9.30 – 10.30 and every Wednesday at Butterfly Meadows, Bloxham 1pm – 2.15pm.
